Music has always been about more than simply singing a song for me. It is about creating a connection with the people in front of me and turning an event into an experience they remember.
I’m Harshit Sharma, a professional live singer and performer based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. I perform at weddings, destination celebrations, corporate events, private parties, hotel and resort events, college functions, gala dinners and live events across India and internationally.
My performances bring together Bollywood favourites, romantic songs, retro classics, Punjabi music, Sufi melodies, acoustic sets and energetic crowd favourites, with every performance adapted to the atmosphere, audience and occasion.
Whether I am performing an intimate acoustic evening or stepping onto the stage for a large celebration, my approach remains the same — understand the audience, read the room and create the right musical experience for that moment.
My Journey as a Live Performer
Every live event is different.
The audience changes. The venue changes. The energy changes.
That is exactly what makes live performance exciting for me.
Over the years, performing at different types of events has taught me that a successful performance is not simply about following a fixed playlist. It is about understanding when the audience wants to listen, when they want to sing along and when they are ready to celebrate.
A performance may begin with soft acoustic or romantic music and gradually move into retro favourites, Bollywood hits, Punjabi songs and energetic crowd numbers.
At another event, the requirement might be completely different — elegant background music during dinner followed by a more interactive performance later in the evening.
I plan every performance around the event, audience and atmosphere rather than delivering exactly the same set everywhere.

My Music & Performance Style
Different moments require different kinds of music.
My repertoire allows me to move naturally between relaxed, emotional and energetic sections during an event.
Depending on the occasion, my live sets can include:
Bollywood
Popular Bollywood songs across different generations, from romantic favourites to energetic crowd songs.
Retro Classics
Timeless Hindi songs that often connect generations and create some of the best audience sing-along moments.
Romantic Music
Soulful songs suited to weddings, couple celebrations, dinners, receptions and intimate events.
Sufi & Soulful Songs
Powerful melodies that work especially well during elegant evenings and listening-focused performances.
Punjabi & Party Music
High-energy tracks for celebrations, Sangeet nights, corporate parties and audiences ready to get on the dance floor.
Acoustic Performances
Stripped-back singer-and-guitar performances suited to intimate gatherings, welcome evenings, cocktails, dinners and smaller celebrations.
Rather than restricting an event to one particular genre, the music can be customised according to your audience and event requirements.
Choose the Right Live Performance Setup
Not every event requires the same size band.
Depending on the venue, audience, event format and entertainment requirement, different performance setups can be arranged.
Solo – Singer with Guitar
An intimate singer-and-guitar setup suitable for acoustic evenings, private gatherings, dinners, welcome events and smaller celebrations.
Duo – Singer/Guitar + Drummer
A compact live setup that adds rhythm and energy while remaining suitable for events where a full band is not required.
Trio – Singer/Guitar + Drummer + Keyboardist
A fuller musical arrangement that works well for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and larger gatherings.
4-Piece Band
Singer + Guitarist + Keyboardist + Drummer
A complete live-band experience suited to larger events, high-energy celebrations and performances where a bigger stage presence is required.
The most suitable setup can be recommended after understanding your event type, venue and audience.
Performing Across India & Worldwide
Although I am based in Jaipur, my performances are not limited to Rajasthan.
I am available for events throughout India as well as international destination events.
This includes bookings for:

Working With Event Planners & Production Teams
A great performance also depends on smooth coordination behind the stage.
I regularly work with event organisers, wedding planners, corporate teams, venues, production companies and sound professionals to help ensure the musical part of the event runs smoothly.
Before an event, coordination can include:
- Performance timings
- Artist arrival and soundcheck
- Technical rider requirements
- Stage requirements
- Sound system requirements
- Performance duration
- Special song requests
- Event flow and cue points
- Travel and accommodation arrangements
- Venue and production coordination
For destination events, these details can be planned in advance with your event planner or production team.
My goal is to make the artist coordination process straightforward while allowing the planner to concentrate on the rest of the event.
A Performance Built Around Your Event
There is no single playlist that works for every audience.
A wedding reception, corporate gala, private birthday celebration and college festival all require different approaches.
That is why song selection and performance flow can be planned according to factors such as:
- Event type
- Guest age group
- Audience preferences
- Venue
- Event schedule
- Desired atmosphere
- Special moments
- Requested songs
If there is a particular song connected to your celebration, it can also be discussed before the event.
From Intimate Evenings to High-Energy Celebrations
Some events need music that stays elegant and relaxed.
Others need interaction, sing-alongs and a stage performance that gradually builds the energy of the room.
I enjoy performing across both styles.
An evening can move naturally from acoustic melodies and romantic Bollywood songs to nostalgic retro music, Punjabi favourites and energetic tracks as the celebration develops.
That flexibility allows the performance to complement the event instead of competing with it.
